He also teaches MBA students at Rice University, and mentors start-ups.
He received his MBA from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas, and his BS in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, India. In 2001, he received IIT Bombay’s Distinguished Service Award.
Marie Bergeron is an Executive Career Coach, and she is presently the Director, Career Development (Experienced Hires) at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. Marie is a Career Management and Recruitment Professional who has contributed to organizations in the roles of employee, educator, leader and consultant for over 40 years. Proven communicator who manages processes and shares learnings in the academic, business/corporate and not-for-profit sectors. She has built, maintains and leverages strong industry network to facilitate marketing, strategy and recruitment initiatives up to the C-level. Marie is a strong communicator and negotiator who acts with integrity and applies solid business acumen, academic background and human capital management competencies in the areas of Recruitment, Talent Acquisition& Search, Executive Coaching, Career Counseling/ Employee Development, etc.
Marie has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Ramesh Anand is the President of American Personnel Resources LLC a global headhunting firm based in Texas. Ramesh has been a headhunter since 1980. He started Personnel Resources in 1985 in Mumbai, India which grew to a practice with offices in Mumbai, Pune & Bangalore with over 50 employees. He established his practice in the US in 1993. Ramesh has hired for diverse industries. His clients have included McDonalds, Monsanto, KBR, Citibank, DHL, Hilton Group of Hotels, etc. He has traveled across the world in his search for appropriate talent for his clients. Ramesh is a Planning & Zoning Commissioner of The City of Missouri City, TX and an Executive Committee member for Houston Mayor’s International Trade Development Advisory Committee
Ramesh has a Bachelor’s degree in General Law from the University of Mumbai.
Ida Ashley is Vice President of Human Resources at Newpark Resources, which provides oilfield services and products. Previously, Ida was Vice President of Human Resources for Schlumberger North America. Ida is a creative, solutions driven HR professional specializing in program design, process improvement and mergers and acquisitions. Ida has high customer service skills with political savvy for building relationships across executive and management teams. She has proven ability to deliver projects in challenging environments. Her career experience is anchored in two arenas: Employee Relations focused in International HR, both Expatriate and Local National; and, ‘back office’ HR support such as Compensation, Benefits, HRIM and Compliance.
Ida has a Master of Science degree in Human Resources from Houston Baptist University, and a BA from Texas A&M University.
Sundaram “Sundy” Srinivasan is Vice President with Zentech Inc, a company that provides innovative engineering solutions for the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry. Prior to that, Sundy held senior executive positions at Schlumberger and BP. He has 30 years industry experience in the Oil and Gas industry in strategic planning, customer interface management, business growth, business consulting as well as management of complex technologies. He has lived and worked in over 19 countries and speaks a multitude of languages. Sundy has also been an advisor to three startup companies in diverse areas ranging from Security Software, mobile location systems and alternate energy capture devices. On the board of various organizations in Houston, he was the past President of the IITAGH and an Advisory Director of the MIT Alumni Club, among others.
Sundy has earned a MBA from MIT and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the IIT Delhi.
